Before you hire a Blaster for any project make sure they have at least five (5) years experience with their own company.
That they do everything from repairs, blasting and painting.
That they carry full Contractors Insurance for at least $2 Million and have full WCB for all workers.
You can also check with NASB and get a report on known contractors in the business.http://www.nasb.ca
Make sure that the painter is able to use an Airless Paint Sprayer, and if not then they don't have the experience need to stain your home.

If you are thinking of getting your log home Dry Ice Blasted, think twice as you will never get as good of a job as Media Blasting.
Yes they say there is no clean-up, but any log home restoration, the contractor should always include clean-up in their quote.

We do everything, inclusing washing your windows and pressure washing your driveway and walkways leaving a perfect job everytime.

We purchased new blasting pots this year from Consolidated Compressor in Calgary and got a good deal as well as good service there.
They also rent out equipment and yard space if you want to do your own blasting @ $40 per hour and they cover all the insurance of you being there.

I blasted and painted my own tractor that was in really bad shape before I got it.
Also got it running and used it to clear the snow in my driveway.
